From our Broward Hub, we bridge the Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Continuums of Care — with housing placement, mobile meals, and fast emergency aid for veterans crossing county lines.
Statement of Need
The gap between counties is where veterans disappear.
Veterans navigating the border of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties fall into a systemic gray area. While excellent single-county infrastructure exists, transient, unsheltered veterans frequently migrate across county lines — dropping out of localized Continuums of Care and losing their placement on housing priority lists.
Physical survival demands take precedence over long-term stability. Without proper nutrition and immediate medical-social triage, chronic health degradation blocks veterans from successfully engaging with VA housing programs like HUD-VASH.

Housing First
Direct assistance with DD-214 retrieval, benefits optimization through county Veteran Services, and immediate placement into VA Grant and Per Diem beds or rapid re-housing — so a lost place in line never becomes a lost home.
